healthyMKE COVID-19 Vaccine Connector Tool and UEOC Vaccine Access Project

January 8, 2021 - Milwaukee UEOC

A COVID-19 Vaccine Connector Tool is now activated and ready to receive registrations from organizations and individuals seeking to deliver - and access - Phase 1A vaccinations.  Hosted on, the vaccine connector tool is one of the first features of the website that is being developed to include an array of COVID-19 vaccine information, as well as related health resources.  We expect that the full website with additional informational resources will ‘go-live’ next week. Our vaccine communications team is working to schedule previews with key constituents in advance of its public launch on January 14.

The Vaccine Connector Tool will support the UEOC’s new Vaccine Access Project.  The project is intended to identify and link “unaffiliated” Phase 1A health care personnel with participating vaccinator organizations. It is our hope that the clearinghouse process will reduce multiple, overlapping and duplicative requests to vaccinator organizations, while providing timely, safe and equitable vaccine access to Phase 1A organizations and individuals.

We look forward to your participation in, and advocacy for the Vaccine Access Project and the Connector Tool and will appreciate your input as to how we can continuously improve its utility in Phase 1A and in future phases, if needed.  We acknowledge that the Vaccine Access Project is just one part of a much more complex and multifaceted system for delivering vaccines to those with the greatest need in our community.  And, we are also pleased that it is part of, which will soon provide multilingual, culturally relevant COVID-19 vaccine information and health resources to the Milwaukee area.
