MILWAUKEE (November 3, 2009) – The City of Milwaukee Health Department (MHD) today has received additional doses of both the injectable and intranasal H1N1 vaccine, and will hold two vaccination clinics this week: Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sarah Scott Middle School, located at 1017 N. 12th Street; and Friday, November 6, 2009 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at South Division High School, 1515 W. Lapham Blvd.

This afternoon, the MHD received approximately 3500 doses of H1N1 injectable vaccine and 1500 doses of the intranasal vaccine, which will be added to the approximately 650 doses of intranasal vaccine remaining from previous clinics. Vaccine will be administered in accordance with the recommendations released by the State Division of Public Health:

  • Pregnant women
  • Children ages 6 months-18 years
  • Healthcare workers with direct patient contact

Persons outside the City of Milwaukee may call 211 for information on H1N1 vaccination clinic dates, times and locations within their community.

City of Milwaukee Health Department to hold H1N1 clinic on Friday, October 30, 2009

Below is a memo from the City of Milwaukee Health Department
