"Uniting a profession, the Medical Society of Milwaukee Foundation empowers physicians through philanthropic partnerships and compelling programming to impact lives and strengthen communities."
The field of health care is challenging and full of rapid change. But what is not changing in the essential reasons why physicians entered the field: to act on a deeply felt calling to ease suffering and promote health, for individuals, families and entire communities.
The Medical Society of Milwaukee Foundation, Inc. (501c3) provides a unique opportunity for physicians and other community-minded people to partner in advancing aspects of health care that inspire their passions – bringing care to the underserved, protecting families with immunizations and vaccinations, raising public awareness of important community health issues such as the opioid epidemic, and supporting young people in their quest to become physicians through mentorship programs.
Your support can also fuel the good ideas and hard work of area physicians as they seek to improve the health of the Milwaukee community. The Foundation makes funds available to fund innovative local health initiatives that align with the Society’s community health mission.
Your gift to the Foundation supports all these objectives, and more. The Foundation is funded by charitable contributions from Society members and others committed to high-quality, accessible health care for our community.

Since the inception of the Medical Society of Milwaukee County in 1846, our members have made landmark contributions in health care locally and on the national level. As a result of your generosity, we look forward to building on our historic legacy of accomplishments, working in collaboration with our community partners, and honoring the profession of medicine and the work physicians do each and every day to care for patients and their families.
Thank you for your generosity.
