Medical Society of Milwaukee Past President's Honored at Wisconsin Medical

Among the many activities that occurred during the Wisconsin Medical Society's (WMS) Annual Meeting in Madison April 2-3, were the recognition of two Medical Society of Milwaukee Past Presidents - George M. Lange, MD, who received the 2016 WMS Director's Award, and Clarence Chou, MD, who received the WMS Presidential Citation honor.


Rep. Nygren Launches HOPE Agenda Website

On March 23, 2016, Representative Rep. John Nygren, R-Marinette, launched a new website on his Heroin, Opioid Prevention and Education Agenda. The website includes possible future legislation to fight the heroin and opioid epidemic.

On March 15th the Wisconsin Women's Health Policy Summit at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is offering a special MedDrop as a safe, secure way to dispose of unwanted medications. Last year unintentional poisonings killed more Wisconsin residents than automobile crashes.
